We have been working diligently preparing the stalls in the barn for the sale, coming up in 10 short days, and we CAN'T WAIT for you to see what we've been up to. Since Sharon and I both LOVE primitives, I thought I would start off with a taste of what we have to offer in our primitive area, which is downstairs.  I know it doesn't look very much like spring, but it's been a LONG winter!  And I think this area is coming along splendidly,  just needs some smalls added in to brighten things up.

If bright and springy is what you are looking for, never fear!  We have loads of bright spring colors, as well as plenty of pastels for those of you that prefer the softer shades.  We've been painting up a storm, and also had help from our sweet friend, Jessica, getting things ready to go.

Sharon went to the fabric store and has been recovering seats with the best of them....

The wedding area, which is usually all burlap and rustic, has a central focus that's far from burlap...Imagine this dressy little loveseat as a prop for your pictures!

Speaking of dressy, we have not one, not two, but three (and maybe a fourth if the painting gets done!) beautiful servers, sideboards, buffets... whatever you prefer to call them.  We have a white one, a cream one, and a blue one.  Not even going to show you pictures because you NEED to see them in person!!!  A style for every taste, from Victorian to country.

I know I have been absent from the blog world for quite a while....welcomed a second grandchild, beautiful (looks just like her Momma) Sloane Elizabeth is all fresh and new, just 9 days old today.  Really hoping I can interest one of my grandchildren in being a part of the barn sale happiness at some point....maybe Sloane or Asher will like to paint!  Sharon already has Logan attending sales with her at a little over a year old!

Will try to get back to you before the sale.  Don't forget, the dates are next Thursday, the 24th of April from 5-9 pm where we will offer a sneak peek (and purchase, too!) for $5 per person, and all of the proceeds from admission will be donated to the American Cancer Society.  Then on Friday, admission is free, and we will be open from 9am until 5pm.  Saturday will be a special day, with 25 plus vendors set up in and around the open farm shed in addition to our offerings inside the barn.  Admission is free on Saturday, too, and the hours are form 9am until 5pm.

Hope you have a great day!
