Happy Friday, everyone! Bet you didn't expect me back this soon, huh? I thought I'd share a picture of the gorgeous tulips I got the other day. Just when I think I can't wait another day for the flowers to start blooming in my yard, I spot these beauties in Sams. Couldn't resist! It was a bunch of 15, I think, and I was able to fill a white enamel pitcher, and a few smaller containers. Aren't they lovely?
I also wanted to share the before picture of a sweet little table I got at the sale a couple of days ago. I'm going to paint it because the top is in pretty bad shape. What do ya think...white, black, or a pretty pastel for spring?
Hope you have a great weekend! I am looking forward to welcoming back my son, who has been on a two week journey to 3 countries in Africa representing US Wheat Associates. This Mom will be happy to see him home safely, let me tell ya!

Okay, I promised Sharon I would get back to blogging today...she sent me a gentle reminder yesterday, and since I was planning to go to the sale today, I thought I'd wait until afternoon, just in case I had something awesome to show you. I had a pretty good day, although I do find myself bidding and losing more often than I have in the past. We are determined to not PAY too much, so we can pass the savings along to you, our beloved barn sale customers!

How do you like that laundry cart?? Thought it would look great with the aprons that will be hanging on the clothesline, IF Sharon is able to find enough! That clothesline was really a hit last spring and I hope we can find a ton of vintage aprons to fill it again!

That's it for today, folks. Gotta go finish unloading the truck!!!

Wow...has it really been a couple of weeks since I posted anything here? Time flies, that's for sure. As for this chick, I have really been busy. I've been trying to get a lot of things cleaned up and ready for the April sale. The other chick has been on vacation in beautiful, sunny Punta Cana for a week! What a lucky chick! But...we got started back to the grind as SOON as she got back. We attended a trade show in Philadelphia. Got some really cool stuff, too...they had WAY more antiques than usual, and we came home with 3 pieces of awesome furniture! Can't wait for you to see what we got!
We also had (in the truck, on the way home from the show) our first official meeting for the spring sale. We are getting our ducks (or chicks) in a row for April 26th, 27th and 28th. I'll let you know the exciting plans as they evolve!!!

Okay, so I kept you in suspense for long enough. I still wasn't convinced that the thing-a-ma-gig I got at the sale was a peeler, until we actually tried an apple in it. But, it really works! So there you have it...the answer to that burning question!

Have a wonderful week!
